SchoMis, (School Management Information System) is an advanced end-end Education Management web-based solution developed by SchulPortals Technologies .

SchoMis is a Portal platform that comes with a free School-owned domain/website hosting. It is a Portal driven System that hosts and runs the entire provided web applications for the school.

SchoMis improves the quality and effectiveness of education and institution, by empowering students, parents and educators with real-time information.

Teachers are provided with relevant assessment tools and access to Educational resources online and offline provided on the school LAN. This is synchronized with the school Portal on the NET for Parents to access. It also markets the School on the internet with popular search engines such as Google, Yahoo, etc. This portal is geared for the effective school management.

SchoMis, eases the management of school resources such as student records, teacher's activities, assignments/homework, tests, exams, performance/appraisal on the school LAN and make them available online in real-time for the parents to access and monitor.

The solution gives access to parents to monitor their ward's performance and progress via the internet. It provides e-mail access for Parents, Teachers and Students, which includes a Chat Program where the Parents can interact with their Wards and their Teachers.

The SMS facility is also available for sending text messages via the Internet to phones and GSM devices of parents, hence alert and urgent messages can be sent en masse to Parents

The solution includes E-learning and Content Management tool for school curriculum and also prepares students for international exams. It caters for the Teacher's career path with a training suite and productivity tools used in aiding the teaching of the various School subjects.

The solution provides a Computer Base Training (CBT) and Digital Studio Tools (DST) packages for the teachers in developing customized and localized subjects' tutorials to aid classroom teaching. A specified number of computers is provided by the solution depending on the population of the school to achieve a ratio of 15 : 1 (students to pc). Multi-media projectors with laptops (for HODs) are provided for the school to aid presentations and learning.

This is assisted with a Digital studio suite to develop quality interactive computer based tutorials on the various subjects of the school curriculum. It is also meant to capture memorable events for the school website.
